JENNIFER DUTCHER
Jennifer Dutcher, Fort Dodge native, has lived and worked in various cities across the country. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art, Art History and Art Education from the University of Iowa. Jennifer also earned her Masters Degree from the University of Iowa in Art Education. She has been instructing in the visual arts since 2002. Jennifer has worked in art education from elementary to the collegiate level instructing at the University of Iowa- College of Education, Simpson College- Upward Bound Visual Arts, and now at Iowa Central. Jennifer also has extensive experience working in museums such as the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Iowa Museum of Natural History. Jennifer’s creative work is very diverse. While her emphasis is metalworking, she works in the following mediums as well: printmaking, ceramics, painting, drawing, illustration, graphic design, and fibers. Jennifer has work in various private collections across the United States and Canada. Jennifer serves on various boards in the community and is the Visual Arts Coordinator at Iowa Central. When she is not busy teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
